Aurora receive Parents' Employer of the Year Award

  • « Alexandra Bolland of Aurora was in charge within the programme Secretariat of the assessment of interregional cooperation projects at the early stage of INTERREG IIIC. More recently, she was recruited as expert in order to support, from outside, the IVC Secretariat in the enormous workload of assessing all applications received. And again, she demonstrated her ability to have a comprehensive view of complex operations and on their feasibility, giving expert advice on their thematic relevance, their financial balance, their management and finally their capacity to exchange and transfer their results to other public authorities. It is clear that this know-how in European territorial cooperation is precious for all EU local and regional authorities”.
Michel Lamblin, Director, Interreg IVC Joint Technical Secretariat
  • Aurora have provided a fantastic service, which has resulted in a very good start for our project!
Maku Obuobi, Programme Manager, Cross River Partnership
  • We used Aurora to provide project management support to our two INTERREG IIIB projects – HST connect and HST integration - as they were winding down and we needed to ensure effective project closure with a reduced staff complement. Having a combined budget of more than €50 million and some pretty rigorous audit and claim processes to follow, the projects required both specialist expertise in EU project management and forensic attention to detail. Aurora quickly got up-to-speed on our admittedly complex projects and established excellent relationships with our 30 odd partners and within the team.
Egon Walesch, HST Projects Manager, SEEDA
  • “We have found Aurora to be exceptional amongst consultancies. They hit the ground running, meet every deadline and produce high quality work. Their political awareness and sensitivity towards all our stakeholders inspires total confidence and it’s always great having them on board.”
Susannah Wilks, Regeneration Strategist, Cross River Partnership.
  • "Aurora has completed a challenging task within very tight timescales and to a very high standard. The outcome has surpassed our expectations – thank you."
James Ruel, Head of European Programmes, South East of England Development Agency
  • "It has been a pleasure working with Aurora on the development of the Eurotowns network and the delivery of the CAPTURE knowledge economy project. Their professionalism, know-how and commitment to providing a high quality service have been invaluable in the delivery of our projects."
Rachel Williams, European Manager, Brighton and Hove City Council
  • "Aurora developed a communications campaign that captured and sold our key messages with great impact. Our EQUAL project, AVE, was all about championing the needs of under-represented groups to break into TV and film. The online case studies and the Business Case for Diversity report by Aurora were brilliant at illustrating both the challenges faced and the results we have achieved."
John Prescott, Skillset: Sector Skills Council for Audio Visual Industries
  • “Without a doubt the most efficient, productive and personable consultancy team it has been my pleasure to work with. I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Aurora.”
Noel Falvey, City of London Corporation
  • "Aurora’s staff has showed continuous professionalism, ability to deliver high quality work under strict deadlines in a complex environment, excellent interpersonal skills with a wide range of stakeholders (82 organisations from 5 different EU member states in our case) and inspiring the group with continuous innovative ideas and processes. Much more than a consultancy and rather a strategic partner that I will recommend with no hesitation for European implementation."
Kathy Vuillaume, GROW Programme Manager at SEEDA
  • "Simply a good experience! We valued the smooth process from start to end."
Laura Ahonen, European Manager, City of Jyväsyklä, Finland
  • "I truly enjoyed working with Aurora, hitting the tight deadlines with their support has been easier and I am really satisfied with the results which we have reached so far."
Serena Foracchia, Managing Director, Reggio nel Mondo, Italy
  • “At the European Parliamentary reception organised by Aurora to celebrate the results of our Interreg IIIC project the European Commission representatives said our initiative had been exemplary. As a Lead Partner you can’t ask for more than that and Aurora’s involvement as external experts was key to our success.”
Scott Marshall, Brighton and Hove City Council
  • ”Aurora produced a European Parliamentary Briefing to engage new and re-elected MEPs in our campaigning work. The result was top quality and generated an enthusiastic response. It undoubtedly increased awareness of our policy issues amongst MEPs.”
Leen Petre, Royal National Institute of the Blind
  • "The process of working with Aurora during two European campaigns helped the Red Cross societies involved to reflect in a structured and constructive way and ultimately to improve our effectiveness. Our funders in the European Commission praised the quality of the final report."
Ute Moehring, Campaign Manager, Red Cross EU Office
  • "I have worked with Sally and Alison on a number of projects. I have been impressed not only with their ability to manage the project and produce a final report on time and within budget, but also their ability to grasp the overall context and macro level objectives of a programme which, in two instances, has resulted in the production of high quality report with innovative recommendations to support forward strategies."
Alex Murray, Chair, Building London Creating Futures partnership
